We are pleased to share a new report feature that we have added to our Quote Management System.
Navigate to the Quote Management System tab and select it. You will now see a new report called Quotes. Upon selecting it, you will find a list view of every quote in the system.
The report includes the name of the company, the brand, quote details including the date, the distributor it is assigned to, how long it took to view, how long it took to post and the status.
If included, there will be a sub status of the quote including if it was won and the dollar value. You may also see the red highlighted fields under the status. These indicate quotes that were either posted as open for future follow up or have not been responded to.
The fields highlighted in red allow you to quickly assess those that need attention and with a click of a button you can respond to it, by providing the details of the quote status or outcome and update the quote directly from this report.
You'll also be able to filter the list view of the quotes by territory, by the distributor, by the quote status, brands, probability of closing, the quote value and the quote date. It makes it very easy for you to find the quotes that you're looking for.
This is a multi level report, meaning that the management team of our manufacturing client gets their view of all the open quotes. The regional or district sales management team will get a view of all of their quotes in their area of responsibility, and of course the distributor and distributor salespeople will also get a similar report highlighting just those quotes that they're responsible for.
This will also allow every user to easily update quotes from their reporting rather than from the just the interface.
We are very excited about this new report and the how it will help drive more sales through your distributor partners by helping them focus on all the quotes they are working on and in turn, close more orders.
