  • Why Was Lynx Trakker™ Developed?

Lynx Trakker™ (Patent Pending) was developed specifically for companies that go to market using distributors. Companies using a distributor network cite an inability to execute and track selling activity as the number one disadvantage of using a distributor sales model. On the other hand, a distributor network can be invaluable in that it reaches customers that could not be tapped with a direct selling model.
What type of companies would benefit from using Lynx Trakker™?

Any company that uses a distributor selling model would benefit. This would include manufacturers, insurance providers, financial service providers, or any other company that uses a distributor to access a customer.
What makes Lynx Trakker™ different from the other products on the market?

Lynx Trakker™ was designed specifically for companies that use a distribution network. We know of no other program on the market that can capture distribution activity and assimilate it into usable information.
What makes a distribution selling model unique vs. a traditional direct selling model?

A distribution selling model differs from a direct sale model in that there is an intermediate selling organization – a distribution network - between the company and the customer.
Why does that create challenges in gathering information?

A direct sales approach allows the company to capture all transactions with the customer. Companies that use distributors cannot easily capture transactions with customers - they can capture transactions with their distributor, but not with the customer.
    Why is this a problem?

The company cannot easily understand the customer and their needs because they are not linked. When there is a distributor between the company and the customer, it is difficult to be certain that target markets are being worked, leads are managed, quotes are closed, market coverage is sufficient or if the customer’s needs are being met.
