Q.How do we improve the quality of the leads we send to our distributors and sales reps?
A. We find that qualifying sales leads is a critical step to any lead system. In fact, the Sales Lead Management Association cited this as a significant concern in their poll on lead management issues.
It is critical to recognize that selling time is precious. Staffing costs for sales people are normally the biggest cost in your sales and marketing budget so it is critical to do the advance work so that they are working on high impact activity. The same applies for distributors. If you send unqualified leads to distributors, they will quickly lose interest in your lead system.
